Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams (born on the 20th of August, 1974 in Aviano Italy). American actress. She is known for her role as naive adorable characters. Adams was born to an U.S. Army officer in Italy and then grew up within Castle Rock Colorado. In the late 1990s, she started to act and dance professionally in Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. Following her move to Minnesota, she starred in the mock-documentary film Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998) about beauty pageants. After moving to Los Angeles, she pursued acting as a profession following her film debut in which she portrayed a dizzy but friendly contestant. Janet Leigh got married to Tony Curtis between June 1951 between June 1951 and September 1962. Her children include Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. She was discovered by actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a contract with MGM and started her career as a film actress in the late 1940s. The decade following she was in a variety of popular films including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), and Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
