Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961, in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was first to achieve a perfect 10 in an Olympic event. Comaneci was first discovered by Bela Karolyi, later to be the Romanian gymnastics coach at the time she was just six years old. In 1969 she was a participant at the Romanian Junior Games and placed 13th. In 1970, she won the title. In 1972, as part of an event for communist-controlled countries' juniors before the Olympics, she was awarded three gold awards. After that, in 1973 and 1974 she was named the overall junior champion. She won four gold and one silver medals in her senior debut international competition, held in 1975. This was her first time she had competed as a senior. In 1976, she became the first female to complete a reverse double salo on the uneven parallel bar as part of her demount. She won the title in the American Cup, held in New York City. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In her teens she started appearing on traveling shows like Ice Capades as a skater as well as her younger sibling Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne is a American citizen who was born on September 6, 1942, in Chicago Illinois. Carol ventured into the entertainment business during her teenage years. Her first job was as a figure skater, performing alongside her younger cousin Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show that were known as Ice Capades. The show featured dramatized ice skating spectacles.
