Katherine Heigl speaks with everyone about her "white bubble childhood" and how it has had an impact on how she raises her adopted multiracial children. The "Firefly Lane" and "Grey's Anatomy" actor revealed in an interview recently that -- when it came to the color of her skin, she didn't care how she looked like, but after she spoke with her older sister who was adopted from South Korea, she realized how different society treated each of both. I wanted to know Meg if when she was out with her parents, she got a particular treatment and when out alone, she got a completely different treatment. She replied "Oh I do, each and every time!" Heigl admitted to parents, "That made me realise how foolish I was." She became enraged by the incident, and decided to use that anger to support her two adopted daughters. Heigl is the mother of a 4-year-old son who is married to her 13 year old husband, Josh Kelley. They adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea at the age of 12 in 2009. then Adalaide aged 8 who is now older and was Black in 2012.
